Terms of Service — Patih

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Patih web application and browser extension (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Patih (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to employers via the Service.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
Use automated scripts to interact with the Service other than through our official browser extension.
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
Violate the terms of service of any job board or employer whose platform you interact with using the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate resumes, fill application fields, and produce career summaries. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to any employer. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI outputs for any particular purpose.

Because the Service is powered by large language models that are used by many people, AI-generated text (including resume bullet points, cover letters, and answers to common application questions) may resemble or duplicate phrasing produced for other users. We do not represent that AI-generated content is original, unique to you, or free of similarity to content produced for others. You are responsible for editing AI-generated content to reflect your authentic voice and experience before submitting it to any third party.

5. Subscription and Billing

The Service is currently in early access. Paid plans, pricing, and billing terms will be communicated before any charges are incurred. Free-tier usage is subject to limits described in the Service. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding your user data) remain the exclusive property of Patih. You retain ownership of the personal data and content you upload. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

We make no guarantees that using the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Hiring decisions are made exclusively by employers.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PATIH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Patih and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to others. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jakarta, Indonesia, except where applicable consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

13. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@patihcopilot.com including: (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) the location of the allegedly infringing material, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act. We will respond to valid notices within a reasonable time.
